Elio Amberg (1990) is a tenor saxophonist and bass clarinetist known for his work in improvisation and composition. His musical exploration focuses on rhythmic structures, extended techniques and freely shaped tonal melodies, moving fluidly along the boundary between electronic and acoustic music.
Beyond his activities as a performer, Amberg is part of the Lucerne-based collective Club Denmark, with which he develops transdisciplinary and experimental events. He is a member of several avant-garde jazz ensembles, including Sc’ööf and Julius Amber, earning international attention with these projects. A versatile improviser, he performs regularly in duo and trio settings with notable Swiss musicians and collaborates with artists from around the globe. His musical work is distinguished by its ability to create inventive bridges between diverse styles and techniques, always with a strong focus on artistic quality and integrity.
Christian Weber is one of the most distinctive voices of contemporary double bass playing in Switzerland. Active both in free improvisation and in experimental, cross-disciplinary projects, he is known for his precise sonic vocabulary, his strong sense of form and his compelling artistic presence. Weber collaborates regularly with leading musicians from the international improvisation scene and appears on numerous recordings.
