An Exceptional Afternoon with Three Artistic Perspectives
Ticino-based performer Stella Spinedi opens with her solo performance “Il gioco è bello quando dura poco”. Together with Lautaro Tesar, she explores sound as a tool to amplify and transform the performance space. The piece operates on multiple perceptual levels, combining a direct, corporeal-material practice with spontaneous, personal narration.
Following this, the Zurich-based duo Linda Vogel (harp) and Constanza Pellicci (voice) takes the audience on an improvisational sonic journey. Between experimental music and subtle electronic extensions, complex and layered acoustic spaces emerge. After engagements with an international orchestra for free improvisation and concert tours through the Amazon in Brazil and Peru, the duo now focuses on developing their own distinctive sound language—shaped by playfulness, attentiveness, and curiosity.
Stella Rosangela Kiyomi Spinedi (*1999, Mendrisio) is a Swiss visual artist and performer. Her practice is deeply rooted in transdisciplinary approaches and investigates the tension between function, materiality, and the empathic body. In her work, she explores habits, rules, and invisible conditions, translating them into raw, concentrated situations that reveal the potential of action. Her artistic process often arises from self-imposed challenges: in the physical engagement with materials, honesty and sensuality emerge.
Her works and performances have been presented at Pasquart and Espace Libre Biel, Kunsthalle Bern, Espacio Nivel 2 (San Miguel de Tucumán, AR), La Rada (Locarno), Kasko (Basel), among others. She earned a Bachelor in Fine Arts in 2021 and a Master in Contemporary Arts Practice in 2023 at the University of the Arts Bern. She is currently pursuing a MAS in Cultural Policy in Lugano and is active in various independent, grassroots cultural projects.
Lautaro Tesar (*1995, Buenos Aires) is an Argentine musician, composer, and sound artist. He began his musical career studying percussion in Buenos Aires. After intensive engagement with South American folk music, he moved to Basel to study Audiodesign and Sound Arts. His artistic research focuses on the intersection of electronic music, acousmatic composition, and ethnomusicology. In 2024, he completed a Master in Composition and Creative Practice in Bern, studying with various international mentors.
He currently works as a sound engineer and composer for theater and music productions. In addition, he plays in a folk band and develops an audiovisual project. In parallel, he produces club music under a pseudonym, exploring industrial and hard techno sounds.
Linda Vogel (Zurich) is a freelance musician, harpist, improviser, and singer. She studied harp with Xenia Schindler at the University of Music Lucerne and released her debut album Maps To Others in 2019. She performs regularly in concert projects across Switzerland and Germany, including at the Volksbühne Berlin and the Montreux Jazz Festival. In addition to performing, she composes music for film and theater. Since April 2022, she has received a scholarship from the Àrvore Foundation and in 2024 received an artistic grant from the City of Zurich.
Constanza Pellicci, originally from Córdoba, Argentina, is a vocal performance artist. She explores the human voice through free improvisation, performance, writing, and installation, integrating multiple interdisciplinary dimensions in her work. She studied music and philosophy at the University of Córdoba and earned a Master in Contemporary Art Practice at the University of Buenos Aires. Her works have been presented at national and international festivals and exhibitions. Active for over fifteen years in the improvised music scene of Córdoba and Buenos Aires, she has received support from the National Arts Fund, the Botín Foundation, the International University of Andalusia, and programs such as Golondrinas and Obrar.
