This initiative would weaken public broadcasting – and with it our local, experimental arts: small concerts, underground theater, films, workshops – all the projects that otherwise wouldn’t get support would be the first to disappear.
For Ticino, this is especially critical: our language, our identity, and the visibility of innovative projects depend on public media. Many initiatives are already operating at their limits – further cuts could end vital projects.
We get it: yes, the fee hurts. But it’s the only way to keep our culture alive. Every franc goes directly to projects that make our region unique.
Carovana091 supports the demonstration this Saturday, February 7th in Bellinzona.
Get informed, speak up, defend our cultural diversity!
Culture needs visibility – visibility needs responsibility.
