This versatile and highly active artist constantly surprises with his bold works, in which an open-minded approach meets clear aesthetic gestures. His works are courageous, innovative, and original. Hans Peter Wespi is a contemporary artist in the deepest sense of the word. The present moment – and always the present moment – serves as his inspiration.
Hans Peter Wespi has been working with Carovana091 for more than 12 years and is one of the permanent members of the Ensemble Sous-Sol. He is fascinated by the ensemble’s music because, as he says: “Each member makes the music resonate from their own centre; the vibrating circles overlap, … creating a sonic fabric, a sound sculpture with intersections. This is what interests me.”
