Casa Azul, Gordola | April 10, 2026, from 5:30 PM
The Locarno cultural association Carovana091 invites you to look, pay attention, and take action. WE SEE YOU began last year with a series of concerts across Switzerland. In Locarno, the association organized an evening at the Gran Rex in collaboration with the Circolo del Cinema, which received an overwhelmingly positive response.
Now, another event will take place in Gordola at Casa Azul, as part of the exhibition Chiavi di Gaza. The situation in Gaza and the Middle East is worsening daily, and people need our solidarity now more than ever.
WE SEE YOU: Alarm and Silence combines art, sound, and human connection into a unique, immersive experience. The exhibition Le Chiavi di Gaza is accompanied by an installative concert by Sous-Sol & Friends. The musicians position themselves throughout the rooms and the site, creating soundscapes that enter into dialogue with the artworks. Boundaries between audience, space, and art dissolve—solidarity becomes audible and tangible.
The works of Luca Chistè, Paola Marcello, and Raffaella Ortelli Spinedi speak of life beyond walls, memory, loss, and hope. They create a space for empathy, awareness, and the possibility to act.
Musical direction: Luca Sisera
Participants: Biliana Vouchtkova (violin), Thomas Canna (drums and percussion), Nicolas Monguzzi (gong and small percussion instruments), Hanswerner Plüss (electronics), Enrico Teofani (trombone), Hanspeter Wespi (cello), Ueli Zysset (double bass), Rosmarie Stucker (voice and objects), Luca Manzo (Hammond organ), Sheldon Suter (drums and percussion), Natalie Peters (voice), Fabio Martini (clarinets), Daniel Cabanzo (electric guitar).
All proceeds from the event, including the aperitif buffet, will go entirely to Future in Peace and support their humanitarian projects.
Where a heart opens, the revolution begins.
"WE SEE YOU shows how we can become active again and respond, and the power of art when artists unite with determination."
